Poole Lifeboat Station is to be the official event charity for the Poole Harbour Boat Show 2020.
The boat show aims to encourage as many people as possible to give boating and water sports a try, Randonnée Jet Ski but the show organisers believe this comes with a responsibility to ensure that they do so without taking unnecessary risks.
A key objective of the show is to educate visitors with respect to ‘safety on the water’.
A fear of unexpected issues and accidents can also be a barrier to getting out on the water say organisers and it is hoped that these barriers for some potential boaters can be broken down through the partnership, showing how easy it is to take measures to avoid getting into difficulties.
The show runs from June 12 to 14 2020 and is a free to attend event.
